The Vortex Ring: "Hypnotizing", "Mesmerizing", "It draws you in. It is a one-of-a-kind kinetic sculpture that pulls you in and eases your mind. Motion generated by a soft breeze, the Vortex Ring spins the copper in and out of the steel ring head, which simultaneously spins on a separate bearing mounted into the pillar.
Dimensions: Approximately 72" tall and 24" wide
Intallation: The pillar bolts to the heavy base plate, option to bolt it directly to the ground. Sculpture can be installed in all weather & climates.
All of our pillars are hand built - they are not machine generated. Because of the techniques used, no pillar design and color pattern will ever be identical. Please note that the picture depicts an example of the design and any purchased pillar will have slight variations compared with the photographs.
**Pillars are sealed with a clear, glossy enamel that provides long lasting protection from rust. Enamel seal can only be applied on the outside of the pillar.
