Myron Charlie is a Navajo (Diné) ceramic artist, born in 1975 and raised within the Navajo Nation. He began making pottery as a teenager (starting at age 14) and learned key techniques from his mother, Susie Charlie, known for her distinctive etched Navajo pottery. Today, Myron creates a range of traditional forms—wedding vases, seed pots, and more—finished with freehand etched feather and geometric designs. Some of his most sought-after pieces feature turquoise inlay, adding natural color and Southwestern character to each one-of-a-kind ceramic.
