Handmade Raku Ceramic Picasso Fish Sculpture
A one-of-a-kind handmade Raku ceramic fish sculpture featuring rich coral red and burgundy tones, sculpted details and the distinctive crackle glaze created through the Raku firing process.
During firing, the ceramic is removed from an extremely hot kiln and rapidly cooled, creating fine cracks in the glaze that are darkened by carbon during reduction. The unpredictable nature of this process gives every piece its own unique character.
Finished with decorative patterns on both sides, the sculpture can be turned to display either side beautifully.
