Handmade Double Sided Kachina

Each Kachina is hand-carved using traditional methods and aged cottonwood. The natural curves and bends in the wood inspire the form and character of each figure. Unique to Jerald’s work the intricate, fine lines are burned into the surface, creating detailed patterns across the body. Bright colors are then hand-painted, bringing each Kachina to life with personality and spirit.
