"Transition" Triptych

This unique, three-piece wall sculpture reflects the artist’s love of geometry, movement and color. An outstanding metal artist and designer, he personally crafts each from aluminum and mixed metals. Using industrial tools to challenge the immutable properties of metal, he adds a variety of textures, then coats the aluminum with other metals, typically copper, bronze and iron. Each of these reacts differently to the chemical patinas and dyes with which he creates beautiful surface colorations ranging from cool blues and greens to vibrant warm hues.
